Jowa have had a tremendous success with their product range during the last years, in some segments we are even market leader e.g. OWS, ODME etc. but this doesn’t mean we can lay back and rest.We are looking for new products in order to strength our position as an environmental product supplier.As you might be aware the market focus right now are to overrule the IMO’s 15ppm discharge limit down to 5ppm, also the demand of so called “ white boxes “ which has a higher monitoring standard then IMO requires.Jowa are working on development in both these segments as this is what the market demand. We have recently released the product DPS ( Discharge Protection System ) which are an intergrated “ white box “, the function of this are to monitor effluent water from the OWS in terms of total volume overboard, concentration in ppm, ship’s GPS postion, Overboard valve open/close position, all data are stored into a memory and can be printed out to a PC or a printer, with this product Jowa are the only manufacturer in the World of Oily water separators with their own developed Bilge monitor ( Seaguard ) and as option an intergrated “ white box “.The next step are to meet the demand of an 5ppm OWS, we are now testing several methods of apply a filter stage as a module which can be mounted after our present OWS, but as we are in an initial testing phase, it’s a bit to early to give more specific information.
