JOWA PES - grows up more and more to a bestseller.The Propellershaft Earthing System – “JOWA PES” becomes more and more important. The interest of the shipping companies in this product started with the release of the MAN Service letter SL08-498 in August 2008. This was an update on spark erosion, how to discover and prevent it. If undiscovered, spark erosion can cause critical wear on the main bearings, the shaft bearings, stern tubes or propellers. This is a well known problem on the most of the ships and it appears independent of the engine type and manufacturer. Therefore the most of the shipping companies are interested. We made extreme good experiences with the PES in year 2010 PES systems with alarm outlet or 4 – 20 mA outlet to ships alarm system is coming soon.
