Monitoring and control systems

To protect life beneath the surface, every-thing must be done to minimise and prevent discharges. IMO stipulates that a maximum 30 litres of oil may be discharged per nautical mile. Jowa supplies a monitoring and control system for ensuring that the amount of oil discharged from a ship does not exceed this limit.
Our monitoring systems also meet the requirement laid down in MARPOL that all oil tankers of 150 GRT and above must have an oil discharge monitoring and control system installed.
